Engineering and capital-project leadership

  • Based at the Bengaluru corporate organization supporting complex injectable manufacturing programs and multiple USFDA-approved manufacturing facilities.
  • Lead complex pharmaceutical capital projects in a global matrix environment, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, procurement, technical operations and external partners.
  • Provide project leadership from conceptual development through design, procurement, execution, commissioning, qualification and commercialization.
  • Support project governance, risk management, project planning, stakeholder alignment and delivery performance.
  • Track staff utilization and coordinate project assignments to support delivery requirements.
  • Support business-development activities, project proposals and qualification of projects from conceptual stage.
  • Partner with EPCM organizations, consultants, equipment suppliers and other external stakeholders.
  • Apply USFDA, EU GMP and Good Engineering Practice principles throughout project execution.

  • Project Lead for an approximately $50 million complex sterile injectable formulation facility designed to USFDA and EU GMP requirements.
  • Coordinated design, manufacturing technologies, filling, washing, containment and cleanroom requirements.
  • The facility supported microspheres, nanosuspensions, suspensions, liposomes, emulsions and gels.
  • Successfully delivered the project for regulatory approval and commercial manufacturing.

  • Scope includes high-speed device assembly, labelling and packaging.
  • Combination-product work is performed in accordance with applicable 21 CFR requirements.
